It is with great sadness that we share the news that Dale McCarty, a dedicated volunteer in our Food Pantry, passed away on April 18, 2019. Dale was a long time volunteer at TEAM, and with his wife, Carla, worked two days a week in our Food Pantry. In addition to his volunteer time at TEAM, Dale was also very active with the Tomball Lions Club. In 2018 he was named their Lion of the Year, an award given for outstanding service to the community. Dale had a servant's heart and will be very missed at TEAM.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, April 29 at Klein Funeral Home in Tomball. Visitation begins at 9:00 am.
In 2018 Dale received the Lion of the Year award from the Tomball Lion's Club.
When asked last month why volunteering at TEAM was important to him, Dale told us it was all about giving back to the community.
